Mopec is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our team in Madison Heights, MI. This is an onsite position and physical presence on the job is required. The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will work as part of the Finance team and will compile, consolidate and report financial results, forecasts, and annual budgets. You’ll perform ad hoc reporting and complete financial analysis. Other duties include collaborating with other departments and gathering data to align financial goals, planning, reconciliation, expense reporting, and monthly bank reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum seven years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis
• Strong Excel skills
• Must have strong ethical conduct
• Must have financial management capacity and capability

• Experience with SAP Concur
• Experience with Sage Fixed Asset
• Experience with Avalara Sales Tax System
• Experience with Infor Visual ERP
• Experience with QuickBooks

Responsibilities

• Compile, consolidate, and report financial results, forecasts, and annual budgets
• Perform ad hoc reporting and complete financial analysis
• Collaborate with other departments and gather data to align financial goals, planning, reconciliation, expense reporting, and monthly bank reconciliation
• Administer Workday Adaptive Planning
• Reconcile and book monthly SAP Concur expenses and reporting
• Administer and reconcile Avalara sales tax reporting
