About The Position

American Power Innovations designs and builds custom-engineered electrical power distribution equipment for operations where uptime is not optional. Our Tulsa, Oklahoma plant produces power distribution centers (PDCs), motor control centers (MCCs), switch racks, low- and medium-voltage VFD skids, and custom PLC control panels — engineered, assembled, tested, and commissioned under one roof. The company carries more than 80 years of power distribution heritage. Formerly Layco Electric Innovations, we rebranded as American Power Innovations in 2025 to reflect a period of significant growth and to reinforce our commitment to American manufacturing and domestically sourced materials. Our customers span energy and utilities, data centers, chemical processing, defense, and municipal infrastructure — industries in which a single equipment failure carries real consequences. Our culture is built on four commitments: Customer First – Always, Our People – Our Power, Accountability for Self, and Collaboration at the Highest Level. We are a hands-on organization that values problem solvers, craftsmanship, and people who take ownership of the work in front of them. The FP&A Manager focuses on future-looking business strategy, corporate budgeting, financial modeling, and variance analysis rather than retrospective bookkeeping. This role bridges the gap between raw data and executive strategy by analyzing financial trends and partnering with business unit leaders.
