About The Position

HP Tuners is seeking a self-motivated individual to assist the company in maintaining its financial operations. The role is primarily responsible for assisting the Finance department in administrative duties and sustaining operational success. This position reports to the Associate Director of Finance and is an onsite role in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of work-related experience required.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite Integrity, with the ability to maintain business confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of office equipment, including scanning and document sorting.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic.
  • Highly effective organizational skills.
  • Team player focused on the success of the team.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with third parties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in annual insurance renewals and handle workbook preparation for insurance coverage.
  • Support annual budget development and monitoring activities in relation to facilities, fleet, insurance, company events, and other related areas.
  • Assist Finance department with various administrative, data entry functions, and ad hoc projects.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate annual financial processes such as budget preparation, audits, year-end reporting, and benefit enrollments.
  • Monitor spend and provide coordination of employee travel, company events, and other office expenses through expense management tools.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for financial and operational inquiries from employees, departments, vendors, and external partners.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
