The Financial Management Analyst analyzes, plans, and evaluates directorate functions to assess the validity, propriety, accuracy, and adequacy of work processes. The role involves consulting with personnel at all levels, observing operating practices, and completing other tasks essential to related duties. The employee must obtain and maintain Level 2 certification under the DoD Financial Management Certification Program within the required two-year period. This is a national security position that requires a favorable suitability review and security determination and may require access to classified information. Travel is seldom, at 1–24%. Telework is limited and available only rarely on a case-by-case basis when agency leadership determines it serves a compelling DoD need.
