About The Position
As a Financial Counselor I at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), you will help patients and their families navigate the financial aspects of their care. You will explain billing processes, assist with insurance verification, and help create a welcoming and informed experience during what can often be a stressful time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of the Patient Financial Services Orientation program and required annual education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a financial, business office, or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong typing skills.
- At least 1 year of PC/Windows experience.
