About The Position
The Financial Counselor I helps patients and their families navigate the financial aspects of care by explaining billing processes and assisting with insurance verification. The role is intended to provide a welcoming and informed experience during what can be a stressful time. This is a variable full-time position in Orlando, Florida.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of the Patient Financial Services Orientation program and required annual education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a financial, business office, or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong typing skills.
- At least 1 year of PC/Windows experience.
Responsibilities
