Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Intermediate to expert level Excel skills – ability to work with large data sets and create advanced formulas
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and the financial impact
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BI.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as cross functionally.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills, with accounting experience being a plus.
  • Self-starter with the motivation to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Solid data management and reporting experience using Microsoft Office tools, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and familiarity with macros and queries.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure process integrity related to inventory and work with team members to resolve process issues
  • Analyze and review bills of material to ensure accurate product & standard costs
  • Understand and analyze manufacturing KPIs and provide actionable insights for operational efficiency
  • Review intercompany shipments to ensure adherence to process
  • Participate in annual and/or bi-annual physical inventory counts
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement within the Operations Group (Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution, Inventory Management and Supply Chain)
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand operational processes and their financial implications
  • Develop and maintain reports and tools for the Operations group to support decision-making processes throughout the company
