About The Position

Join Associated Bank’s Financial Planning & Analysis team and help drive informed business decisions through financial insights and analysis. In this role, you'll support forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and management reporting while building a strong foundation in banking finance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of financial analysis, accounting, banking, or related experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, or profitability analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of banking products, financial statements, or financial services operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial results, forecasts, and trends to support business and management decision-making.
  • Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability processes through data collection, validation, and financial modeling.
  • Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers behind financial performance.
  • Partner with senior FP&A team members on ad hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and business requests.
  • Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop knowledge of banking products, revenue streams, expense drivers, and financial systems.
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and reporting processes to support data integrity.
