About The Position

Civitas Senior Living is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Dallas-based finance team. This role will support financial modeling, budgeting, portfolio analysis, acquisitions, refinancing, and executive reporting across our senior living portfolio. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and interested in gaining broad exposure to real estate finance and senior housing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills required
• Financial modeling experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Eager to learn
• Comfortable working with data
• Capable of turning numbers into actionable insights
• Able to manage multiple projects
• Able to work directly with leadership
• Able to take ownership of important financial analyses

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, developments, refinancings, and operating communities
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections
• Analyze portfolio performance, including occupancy, revenue, payroll, expenses, NOI, and cash flow
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries
• Review rent rolls, payroll reports, operating statements, and market data
• Support acquisition underwriting, valuation, and due diligence
• Assist with lender, investor, and internal reporting
• Create ad hoc financial analyses for ownership and leadership
• Help improve reporting processes, dashboards, and internal templates
