About The Position
Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is a multidisciplinary, integrated national professional services firm with eleven offices across the United States and over 850 professionals. The firm is known for its quality and commitment to clients, offering a unique approach that combines legal services, advocacy, and business strategy. This role is for a Financial Analyst who will be part of the Financial Analytics team, reporting to the Financial Analytics Director. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining existing reports and data sets, supporting the development of new reporting, and assisting with ad hoc data requests and projects. Collaboration with Practice Management and Pricing teams will also be part of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 1 - 2 years of analytical experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively with end users, peers and managers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Self-motivated and able to work successfully with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
- Support regular weekly and monthly reporting
- Perform data integrity and report accuracy checks
- Support in testing newly developed reporting
- Support Financial Analytics Director with Financial Presentations
- Support Practice Management team reporting and analysis
- Assist with Ad hoc data requests and projects
- Assist Financial Analytics Director with development of financial models and dashboards
