About The Position

The Financial Advisor Development Program (FADP) is a 21-month program designed to transition participants from Investment Professionals to Financial Advisors at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. The program offers robust training in client interaction (phone and video), investment and product knowledge, professional skills development, and an in-depth understanding of Service & Administration and National Branch operations. Upon completion, participants will be equipped with the skills, experience, training, and support to launch a career as a Financial Advisor in the National Branch, which provides comprehensive financial planning and advice to clients through video meetings. The program includes access to professional development, financial planning tools and strategies, networking opportunities, a dedicated developmental coach, a financial advisor mentor, and guidance from a program manager focused on career progression.

Requirements

  • B.A., B.S., or 5th year M.A. or M.S. with graduation date of December 2026 through June 2027
  • Desire to obtain and pass the FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66, and meet FINRA continuing education requirements
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and foster strong professional relationships with business partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly as priorities change
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and AI tools
  • Passion for client service and an interest in building a foundational career in wealth management providing financial advice
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, but also work well independently
  • Ability to adapt conversations to meet the needs of a diverse client base across all 50 states
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no employment-based immigration sponsorship offered)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in finance or other finance-related courses
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0

Responsibilities

  • Obtain FINRA licenses required for the Investment Professional and the Financial Advisor role (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66)
  • Support clients with order entry, money movement, and account maintenance requests in a call-center environment
  • Assist clients with brokerage accounts and discuss Individual Retirement Accounts (Traditional and Roth IRAs) in a team environment
  • Create business efficiency by answering calls quickly, identifying client needs, initiating trades, and completing service-oriented transactions
  • Document all client conversations and meet all regulatory requirements
  • Become an expert in the online platform through Chase.com
  • Help clients navigate the website to provide them more access and flexibility to service their accounts
