About The Position

The Finance Support Specialist supports PJ Fitzpatrick’s financial operations and customer experience. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this role works with internal teams, customers, and financing partners to research financing information, resolve account-related issues, and support timely collections. The position requires organization, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally. It offers an opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth while developing financial and customer service skills. This is a hybrid role based in New Castle, Delaware, with hours of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The salary range is $42,000–$47,000, based on experience.

Requirements

Strong organizational and process-management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Previous customer service or financial services experience.

Responsibilities

Research, review, and communicate financing and loan information accurately and efficiently to internal team members and customers.
Work with customers and financing providers to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure timely communication.
Collaborate with Accounting, Production, and Sales teams to support collection efforts and address outstanding balances.
Monitor and follow up on financing-related questions and unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer financing and account inquiries.
Communicate professionally and effectively with internal departments, customers, and external business partners.
Assist with additional finance-related tasks and projects as needed.
Represent PJ Fitzpatrick’s values and contribute to a positive, collaborative, customer-focused work environment.
