About The Position

BNY is seeking a driven team member to join its Finance Team in Lake Mary, Florida, supporting foundational and transformative AI delivery initiatives. The role combines structured analytical work with hands-on solution development, helping define, test, refine, and prototype practical AI-enabled solutions using existing tools and platforms. The Specialist translates Finance needs into requirements and solution designs, supports data preparation and integrations, and contributes across the AI delivery lifecycle. The role includes configuring and testing AI solutions, preparing them for production, supporting governance and model-risk documentation, and monitoring and resolving issues after launch. It also helps build reusable delivery practices and drive adoption among FP&A and Treasury teams through walkthroughs, feedback sessions, and iterative improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data/Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience supporting delivery of AI, automation, or data/analytics solutions, such as through business/systems analysis, configuration/implementation, or QA/testing; ideally in finance, operations, or a technology/consulting environment.
Demonstrated contribution to technology or AI solution delivery across requirements, build/configuration, testing, and production rollout.
Working proficiency with SQL and/or Python.
Comfort working with structured financial data.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and structured thinking.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on exposure to AI or automation delivery, such as agentic AI, LLM-based tools, or RPA.
Prior experience at BNY, another financial institution, or a technology/consulting firm in an AI, automation, data, or technology-delivery capacity.
Experience translating business needs into user stories and functional requirements, conducting UAT/QA testing, and preparing governance/model-risk documentation.
Exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, or cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with change-management practices.
Relevant certifications in AI/analytics, business analysis, or Agile/Scrum, or equivalent coursework.

Responsibilities

Translate Finance business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and solution designs for AI-enabled use cases.
Support data preparation, source-to-agent mapping, and API integration work, including with Snowflake, Accounting Rules Engine, and Apptio.
Prototype and iterate on solutions using BNY’s existing AI platform and approved tools, favoring pragmatic builds and experimentation before recommending new development.
Configure, assemble, and refine AI solutions, including prompts, workflows, decision logic, testing scenarios, and supporting components.
Design and execute business UAT, EQE, and performance testing for Finance AI agents before production release.
Coordinate governance and model-risk documentation.
Support production migration and change management for agents moving into production.
Monitor production agents, triage issues, and support resolution.
Track and apply evolving AI guidance, standards, and design patterns across delivery work.
Maintain shared documentation, including process maps, data dictionaries, test-case libraries, and runbooks.
Drive adoption through brown-bags, prototype walkthroughs, user feedback sessions, and iteration loops with FP&A and Treasury teams.
