About The Position

Turing is seeking experienced financial professionals to contribute finance and strategic management expertise to projects that fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs). No prior AI experience is required. The projects explore how AI can enhance financial planning, reporting accuracy, and strategic forecasting in real-world business contexts. The role involves designing and solving finance problems to assess AI model reasoning, creating clear step-by-step financial analyses and decision frameworks, collaborating with AI researchers, and defining evaluation benchmarks based on financial-management standards and best practices. The engagement is freelance/contractor work, with projects lasting approximately one month and possible extensions. The work is fully remote, and compensation varies by project. Contributors must not provide confidential or proprietary information, trade secrets, internal organizational data, specific client information or case details, or information that would violate confidentiality obligations.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a Financial Manager, Finance Director, or in a similar finance or insurance leadership role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong English communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Proven strategic-level experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
