  • Experience managing and developing people.
  • Ability to communicate financial results clearly and credibly to executives, auditors, and lenders.
  • Ability to frame trade-offs and recommend decisions, explain numbers plainly to people outside finance, understand how pricing and customer behavior affect financial results, develop and delegate to team members, and anticipate deadlines and risks.

  • Apply technical accounting for a SaaS business, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 340-40 contract costs, and ASC 842 leases.

  • Lead the annual budget with department heads and maintain the long-range financial model.

  • Report SaaS metrics and budget-versus-actual results, explaining the factors driving results.
  • Coordinate annual ESOP valuation, census, allocations, diversification, and distributions with the trustee, recordkeeper, and valuation firm.
  • Manage 401(k) nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 filings for both plans.
  • Answer participant plan questions and support benefits renewals with HR.
  • Manage daily cash, banking relationships, investment portfolio oversight, and debt covenant compliance.
  • Coordinate federal and state S-corporation tax filings with outside advisors, including R&D capitalization, excise, and sales and use tax.
  • Support insurance renewals, subsidiary filings, and contract tracking.
  • Lead and develop the Senior Accounting Manager and accounting team.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Services leaders on pricing, deal economics, and budgets.
