About The Position

Karmak is hiring a Director of Finance to lead accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance. This hands-on leadership role owns the close, external audit, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and retirement plan compliance, and company forecasting and budgeting. The Director leads a Senior Accounting Manager and, through that person, the accounting team, and reports directly to the CFO. The role has a stated potential path to VP of Finance within two to three years, based on results rather than tenure. Karmak is an employee-owned, fully remote software company that builds dealer management software for the heavy-duty truck industry. Its Fusion and Blaze platforms support parts, service, and accounting operations for truck dealers. The Director works with the CFO, executive team, Board, auditors, lenders, and leaders across Sales, Product, and Services.
