About The Position

The Finance Manager is part of the team responsible for the accurate management and reporting of location finances. The role works with location leadership to develop action plans that continually improve financial performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced, dynamic finance or accounting professional who understands financial concepts and how they relate to operational procedures and outcomes.

Requirements

At least 3 years in a finance or accounting role.
High level of computer literacy.
Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA certification is preferred.
Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support accurate and timely financial reporting.
Help location operations management understand and respond to financial information.
Manage administration and reporting of financial information at the location.
Work with operations teams to interpret financial data and take action to drive improvements.
Work closely with the partner finance team where applicable.
Support monthly general-ledger close.
Proactively manage location accounts receivable in accordance with contractual terms.
Support completion of the daily MSR and production of a balanced month-end MSR.
Monitor and manage credit-card settlements.
Manage wire-transfer requests and subcontractor payments.
Oversee location cash assets, including the cash room and armored-car pickups.
Manage an accurate and timely month-end close process.
Support budgeting processes, including posting accounts-payable accruals and transfers.
Oversee timely collection of accounts receivable.
Balance direct bills and invoice adjustments.
Ensure the accuracy of tax rates for financial reporting.
Ensure appropriate retention and management of documentation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
