About The Position

Turing is seeking finance experts to work with its researchers to improve the performance of AI models. The role covers a range of finance areas, including capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, and accounting. The expert will evaluate large language models in finance areas where they perform poorly, create rubrics to assess model capabilities, and collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts on training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. No prior AI experience is required. The freelance engagement is fully remote and flexible, at approximately 10–30 hours per week for about one month, with possible extension depending on performance and project needs. Compensation is approximately $100 or more per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, financial consulting, or another finance role.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts relevant to the candidate’s domain, such as investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management.
• Excellent written communication in English.

Nice To Haves

• CFA Level I, II, or III.
• CA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities
