This role will have a strong focus on supporting our academic hospitals, working closely with leaders across teaching hospitals and academic programs to provide insight and financial guidance that supports both operational and strategic priorities. As a strategic finance leader, you’ll own key deliverables including financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting—helping shape decisions that influence thousands.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of FP&A or finance experience (healthcare or multi-site preferred)
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
  • Strong communication skills with experience in presenting to executives
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives (productivity, NOI, service line performance)
  • Familiarity with tools like Vizient ODB and operational metrics (CMI, LOS, labor, supply)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ten years’ experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates, and implements programs regarding Finance.
  • Creates the processes necessary to implement the programs developed.
  • Develops procedures manuals as needed.
  • Formulates recommendations to support the program.
  • Oversees necessary audit activity to support the program.
  • Trains Finance personnel on the program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
