About The Position

As Director of US Sales Finance, you’ll partner with sales, operations, and worldwide finance to drive the strategies that fuel Apple's continued growth. If you thrive in complexity, own the details, and lead with both analytical rigor and executive presence, this role was built for you. You'll serve as the senior finance partner for Apple’s US Sales, leading a team of financial analysts while operating as a trusted strategic advisor to sales leadership. You'll own the full financial picture from unit forecasting and budget management to back-margin accounting and channel investment optimization while influencing the decisions that shape how Apple goes to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in finance, financial planning and analysis
  • 8 or more years of experience managing a team of finance professionals
  • Experience owning financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a large, complex commercial business
  • Experience partnering directly with sales or commercial business teams to develop and execute financial strategy
  • Experience presenting financial analysis and recommendations to senior or executive leadership

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the technology industry, consumer electronics, or a similarly fast-moving, high-volume consumer business
  • Experience managing finance for a large, multi-channel commercial business including direct and indirect routes to market
  • Experience with channel investment programs, trade spend management, back-margin accounting, or demand generation funding
  • Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous financial data into clear and actionable recommendations for senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple routes to market
  • Partner directly with U.S. sales executives to develop account-level strategy by customer and execute quarterly business objectives with precision
  • Build and present business cases to profitably grow revenue across all lines of business, reviewing regularly with the Worldwide (WW) finance team
  • Own unit forecasting for the country; partner with regional operations on allocation and supply decisions while coordinating closely with WW
  • Manage accounting and internal controls for all back-margin programs, demand generation funding, and related financial programs
  • Partner with the channel sales organization to optimize investment across partner and point-of-sale programs including fixtures, staffing, training, and demonstration units
  • Manage, develop, and retain a team of financial analysts, building a culture of rigor, ownership, and intellectual curiosity
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready recommendations that directly influence go-to-market strategy and resource allocation decisions
