About The Position

This role is part of bp's One Finance program, a three-year rotational program designed to develop future finance leaders. The program includes three 12-month rotations and aims to provide broad discipline experience, transferable skills, and a strong understanding of bp's finance vision. The Finance and Risk Analyst will gain exposure to various trading support roles within Trading & Shipping, including Finance, Risk, and Compliance. The role involves working alongside experienced professionals, understanding how functional businesses support supply and trading activities, and contributing to career growth within the organization. Rotational areas may include Commodity Risk, Commercial Development, Credit Risk, and Market Risk. There may also be opportunities to learn about the Gas and Power businesses.

Requirements

Working toward a Bachelor's degree in an accepted major discipline.
Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
Current Cumulative GPA Minimum 3.0.
Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Must be available to start on agreed upon global program start dates (January 19, 2027 or June 21, 2027).
Geographically mobile and willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Undertake role rotations within business areas such as Commodity Risk, Commercial Development, Credit Risk, and Market Risk.
Gain exposure to various trading support roles, including Finance, Risk, and Compliance.
