About The Position

The Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I Manager) works with customers during the vehicle purchase process, transitioning them from Sales to Finance and identifying suitable financing and insurance products. The role makes credit decisions, submits deals to lenders for approval, and helps resolve disconnects in the sales process. It also involves presenting transparent financing and product options, processing transactions in compliance with state and federal regulations, and supporting a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customers’ financing needs and payment options through a consultative interview process.
• Present customers with a fully transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Process finance transactions and ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.
• Handle administrative processes promptly and in compliance with company policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Make credit decisions and submit deals to lenders for approval.
