About The Position
Honda of Bellingham is seeking an experienced F&I Manager with a strong focus on compliance, product knowledge, customer service, and closing sales. The manager will explain product features and benefits, generate finance income, and help train new team members. The position handles automotive finance and insurance transactions, lender approvals, and aftermarket extended warranty sales and cancellations.
Requirements
- Experience as an automotive F&I professional.
- Strong focus on compliance requirements and product knowledge.
- Ability to clearly communicate product features and benefits.
- Ability to confidently close sales.
- Strong customer-service ability and dedication to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Contract new business, sell, and close deals.
- Generate finance income on all sold customers.
- Check and verify paperwork for cash, finance, or loan transactions.
- Contract or collect all money at closing.
- Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals.
- Maintain working knowledge of leases, “balloons,” and related offerings.
- Assist in acquiring approval from lenders.
- Understand programs and rate options offered by lenders.
- Solicit aftermarket extended warranty sales.
- Handle cancellations for extended warranties.
- Train new talent and communicate product features and benefits.
