$113,342 - $155,846

About The Position

We are seeking an Analytics Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to Finance and other key functional leaders. This role will lead analytics initiatives end-to-end—translating business needs into actionable insights, defining delivery frameworks, and ensuring outcomes drive measurable business impact. This individual operates at the intersection of business, analytics, engineering, and governance, ensuring alignment across teams and delivering scalable, trusted analytics solutions. A key focus for this role is supporting the Finance organization’s transition of reporting tools and modernization of analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or finance analytics
  • Experience partnering directly with Finance teams (FP&A, Accounting, or Operations Finance)
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions
  • Experience working with enterprise reporting tools (Power BI strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Data Science background and understanding of statistical analysis for forecasting, anomaly detection, and prescriptive analytics
  • Deep understanding of financial drivers and operational metrics
  • Ability to break down complex problems into solvable components
  • Comfortable engaging Directors and VP-level stakeholders
  • Balances strategy with delivery and outcomes
  • Acts as the “owner” of analytics outcomes, not just outputs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or leading reporting transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and modern data architectures
  • Strong understanding of data governance, KPI standardization, and semantic layers
  • Experience in rental, operations, or multi-entity business models (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytics partner to Finance leadership (FP&A, Accounting, Operations Finance).
  • Lead discovery, prioritization, and execution of analytics initiatives aligned to business outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into structured problem statements, success metrics, and delivery plans.
  • Drive ownership of analytics use cases from intake through delivery and adoption.
  • Define what needs to be built and why, not just how—owning solution design at a conceptual level.
  • Ensure analytics initiatives align with enterprise KPIs and financial performance drivers, deliver measurable business value, and follow standardized methodologies and governance practices.
  • Establish repeatable frameworks for business intake and prioritization, use case definition and sizing, and success measurement and ROI tracking.
  • Act as the connector across functions: Business (Requirements, adoption, outcomes), Analytics (Insights, reporting, storytelling), Engineering (Data pipelines, data models, platform capabilities), and Governance (Definitions, quality, and compliance).
  • Drive alignment between business expectations and technical feasibility.
  • Influence backlog prioritization based on business value and impact.
  • Lead analytics support for Finance reporting transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance to rationalize and standardize KPI definitions, modernize reporting (Power BI / enterprise tools), enable self-service and improve usability, and identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve data trust.
  • Deliver insights that go beyond reporting—focus on drivers, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support Finance leadership with forecasting and performance analysis, variance analysis and root cause insights, and decision modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide analysts aligned to business functions.
  • Set expectations for business engagement, analytical rigor, and storytelling and communication.
  • Build a culture of proactive, consultative analytics rather than reactive reporting.
