About The Position

Zoetis’s Finance Rotational Program is a structured, three-year development experience intended to prepare the next generation of Finance leaders. Participants complete four planned nine-month rotations, gaining broad Finance exposure, project ownership, senior leadership visibility, and cross-functional collaboration. The cohort program also includes networking, mentorship from the Finance Leadership Team, and targeted development opportunities. The program begins in June 2027 and is open to recent Bachelor's and MBA-level graduates, with placement and responsibility calibrated to degree level and experience. Rotations may cover Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Internal Audit, and Controllership. Assignments depend on business needs, individual skills, and development goals. After successful completion, participants may be considered for permanent Finance roles based on performance, business needs, and mutual interest. The role is based in Parsippany, New Jersey, in a hybrid environment, with approximately 50% of work time (two to three days per week) required onsite. Some domestic travel may be required. The U.S. base salary range is $61,000–$85,000, and the position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution, obtained between December 2026 and June 2027.
Zero to two years of professional experience.
Strong analytical background, strategic thinking skills, and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of accounting, internal controls, and financial systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest and proficiency in using approved AI tools and emerging technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a team and build collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders.
Willingness to complete rotations in different functional areas.
Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
Experience in the animal health and/or human health industry.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or OneStream.
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Align with cross-functional stakeholders on project goals, timelines, and budgets, and support process improvement, digitalization, and change management initiatives.
Collect, analyze, and report financial and operational data, including process mapping, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting, to inform Finance and business decisions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and leadership presentations.
Contribute to special projects, including reporting automation, process documentation, and evaluation of external business development opportunities.
Use financial systems and digital tools such as SAP, Power BI, OneStream, and Workday to improve reporting efficiency and support Finance digitalization.
Use approved AI tools and emerging technologies to improve Finance processes, automate routine tasks, enhance analysis, and drive innovation in accordance with company policies.
Build collaborative relationships across Finance, IT, Commercial, Procurement, and other business units to support planning, execution, and business partnering.
Participate in development training, mentorship, and networking, and present findings and recommendations to Finance and business leadership.
