The Finance Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing all inbound calls for the division, including oversight of the multi-line telephone system. This role serves as the first point of contact for teammates, visitors, and guests, greeting and directing them appropriately while overseeing visitor access to the Administration building. Additional responsibilities include ordering office supplies, processing incoming and outgoing mail for the U.S. Post Office, FedEx, and UPS, maintaining the front lobby and the administrative and sales conference rooms, and providing general administrative support as needed. This role is designed to provide flexible, cross-functional support to the finance team, partnering with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Human Resources on miscellaneous tasks, special projects, and day-to-day administrative needs. The Finance Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and is expected to cross-train as needed in other functional areas. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
