About The Position

Lincoln Electric is seeking bright, driven individuals for its Finance & Accounting Development Program, designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. Participants will connect their education with a future in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and leadership. This entry-level position offers exposure to various processes within the Corporate Accounting & Finance function. Program members will rotate over a 9-month period through different functional areas, including Financial Reporting and Accounting, Cost Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis, and Internal Audit. Participants will also contribute to Corporate Accounting/Finance projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance by June 2027
  • Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing or achieved a master's degree or CPA designation
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Previous Accounting or Financial experience
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including inventory validation and integration of financial controls.
  • Prepare financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
  • Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
  • Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units.
  • Assist with physical inventories for divisions and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
