About The Position

Lincoln Electric's Euclid, OH location is looking for bright, driven individuals to join our Finance & Accounting Internship. This program is designed to connect your academic foundation with real-world, hands-on experience. As a participant, you’ll Be the Linc between your education and a future in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and leadership. This internship offers a chance to work alongside industry leaders at a global manufacturing powerhouse. You will gain practical experience through guided instruction and real-world applications, participate in social events, National Intern Day, and community service. Those eligible may be considered for full-time opportunities, including our Trainee Development Program.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or already achieved a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to work for a manufacturing company
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
  • Conduct research on industry competitors to gather insights into financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units.
  • Work cross functionally with other finance and accounting departments (Internal Audit, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting).
