About The Position

Lincoln Electric is seeking bright, driven engineering individuals to join our Engineering Development Program. This program is designed to connect your academic foundation with real-world, hands-on experience, allowing you to be the link between your education and a future in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and engineering leadership. The program is a 12-month immersive engineering training program at our Euclid facility. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge about Lincoln Electric’s products and applications, positioning them for various career paths including research & development, operations, automation, manufacturing engineering, and consumable engineering.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering by June 2027
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • An engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Industrial, Material Science, Welding, Packaging, Metallurgy.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Machine or system design.
  • Create detailed design specifications, manufacturing instructions, assembly drawings, and testing protocols.
  • Testing of prototype equipment.
  • Execute quality control processes to resolve production problems.
  • Develop new consumables through applied research.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of safety mechanisms and controls for industrial machinery.
