About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is expanding its Final Mile Service Provider Network and seeks reliable independent contractors and teams to meet customer demand. Contractors choose the work that fits their schedule, equipment, and capabilities. Annual earnings are listed as $40,000–$100,000+, based on location and work accepted, with weekly settlements. Available services include delivery and assembly by a two-person team, assembly-only work by a two-person team, and one-person in-home repair using manufacturer-provided parts. Delivery and assembly work typically requires a van, Sprinter, or 16–26-foot box truck; sedans and SUVs are not permitted for delivery and assembly. Sedans and SUVs are limited to assembly-only and repair work.

Requirements

Experience delivering, assembling, or repairing products in a customer-facing environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a two-person team, except for repair work.
Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Physical capability to lift, deliver, and assemble products.
Provide and maintain required tools and vehicle(s).
EIN required.
Meet AIT insurance, registration, and compliance requirements.
DOT/MC authority required for some work.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Insurance that meets AIT standards.
Owners, drivers, and helpers must pass background checks and drug screens.
Delivery and assembly work typically requires a two-person team and a van, Sprinter, or 16–26-foot box truck; sedans and SUVs are not permitted for this work.

Responsibilities

Pick up, deliver, and install products to manufacturer specifications as a two-person team.
Assemble products at customer homes as a two-person team.
Complete in-home repairs using manufacturer-provided parts as a one-person contractor.
Safely handle and assemble large products, including basketball hoops, fitness equipment, furniture, home goods, and backyard products.
Use mobile apps to manage and complete jobs.
Provide customer-facing service and communicate effectively with customers.
