About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is expanding its Final Mile Service Provider Network and seeking independent contractors and teams to support customer demand in Salisbury, Maryland. Contractors choose which jobs to accept based on their schedule, equipment, and capabilities. Annual earnings are estimated at $40,000–$100,000+, based on location and work accepted, with weekly settlements.

Available services include delivery and assembly by a two-person team, assembly-only work by a two-person team, and in-home repair work by one person. Delivery and assembly work requires an appropriate vehicle; sedans and SUVs are not permitted for delivery and assembly, while they are limited to assembly-only and repair work. Contractors provide and maintain their own required tools and vehicles and must satisfy AIT’s insurance, registration, compliance, and screening requirements.

Requirements

• Experience delivering, assembling, or repairing products in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort working independently or as part of a two-person team; repair work is performed by one person.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Physical capability to lift, deliver, and assemble products.
• Must provide and maintain required tools and vehicle(s).
• Employer Identification Number (EIN) required.
• Must meet AIT insurance, registration, and compliance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) meeting AIT standards.
• Background checks and drug screens are conducted for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, deliver, and install products according to manufacturer specifications as a two-person team.
• Assemble products at customers’ homes as a two-person team.
• Complete in-home repairs using manufacturer-provided parts as a one-person contractor.
• Safely handle and assemble products such as basketball hoops, fitness equipment, furniture, home goods, playsets, pergolas, and grills.
• Use mobile apps to manage and complete jobs.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers.
