About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time Film Production Mentor to provide academic support to students in grades 9–12. The mentor will teach Film Production and provide support to students in small and large groups. Mentors have access to class assignment information and collaborate with Study Smart’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies. The role requires in-person availability in Fontana, California, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The mentor must adapt to new materials and teaching strategies and maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.

Requirements

• Completed four-year degree; a Bachelor's degree in Film is preferred.
• In-person availability is required.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Film is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Film Production to students in grades 9–12.
