About The Position
Study Smart is hiring a part-time Film Production Mentor to support students in grades 9–12. The mentor will provide instructional and mentoring support to small and large student groups, using information about class assignments and adapting to new materials and teaching strategies. The role involves consistent communication with Study Smart staff and collaboration with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies. In-person availability is required in Fontana, California, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Requirements
- Hold a completed four-year degree.
- Be available to work in person.
- Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree in Film is preferred.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Teach Film Production to students in grades 9–12.
- Provide mentoring support to small and large groups of students.
- Use information about class assignments to support students.
- Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
- Partner with Study Smart’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to students.
