About The Position
Under the direction of the Stylist Manager or Fifth Avenue Club Director, the Fifth Avenue Club Consultant drives an individual Personal Shopping business by providing outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space, establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and building overall Club sales volume. The Consultant consistently follows company standards and procedures. The role involves building client relationships, meeting sales goals, recruiting and developing Club members, and using Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling tools to support the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of retail experience in a customer-focused luxury sales environment.
- Experience working with sales quotas and comfort meeting sales targets.
- Social media and technology savvy.
- Strong listening, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to gain trust quickly, communicate directly and diplomatically, and secure cooperation with minimal disruption.
- Ability to generate varied and novel approaches to problem-solving.
- Customer-focused approach, including prioritizing internal and external customer needs and seeking customer information to improve products and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space and build an individual Personal Shopping business.
- Establish new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts and build overall Club sales volume.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships while delivering a consistently high level of customer service.
- Use Club events to recruit new members, increase sales, and develop existing members.
- Generate and share ideas with Club Directors to develop individual business opportunities and maximize sales toward or above goals.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clientele resource tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
- Follow company standards and procedures.
