About The Position
The Boutique Assistant supports the Assistant Boutique Manager and boutique team in delivering an exceptional client experience. The role supports Sales Associates, daily boutique maintenance and operations, and Reception, and actively participates in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony. The assistant helps ensure smooth boutique operations, maintains the Maison’s image and service standards, and contributes to a professional, welcoming environment for clients. The position includes training on the Maison’s history, know-how, and creations. Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in the United States. Compensation is negotiated based on skills and prior work experience; the stated hourly salary range is $30–$32, and the role is bonus eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across multiple projects.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent communication and verbal abilities for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Proactive and adaptable approach in a dynamic retail environment.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and operational support.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP software.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
Responsibilities
- Replenish selling-floor supplies, including shopping bags and wrapping paper, as needed.
- Participate in boutique setup and breakdown at opening and closing.
- Handle morning jewelry setup and evening jewelry pulling, and maintain backstock.
- Accurately backfill point-of-sale stations and desks.
- Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is kept in proper condition.
- Greet clients and assist with Reception duties.
- Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image and Service Charter.
- Support Sales Associates and daily boutique operations.
- Actively participate in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
