Fifth Avenue Club Consultant
About The Position
The Fifth Avenue Club Consultant, also described as a Fashion Consultant, drives an individual personal-shopping business by providing outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space, establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and driving Fifth Avenue Club sales. The role works under the direction of the Suite Manager, Fifth Avenue Club, and is onsite. The consultant builds and maintains client relationships, uses Club events to recruit and develop clients, and works with the Fifth Avenue Club team to identify opportunities to grow the business and achieve or exceed sales goals. The role also sources products through Saks Fifth Avenue’s store, digital, and distribution networks; supports basic alteration fittings with guidance and training; maintains a digital presence and promotes the business through social media; and serves as a community and brand ambassador. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail experience in a customer-focused luxury sales environment.
- Experience with luxury fashion and lifestyle.
- Experience working with sales quotas and comfort meeting sales targets in a commission-based selling environment.
- An established network or client base on multiple social media platforms and the ability to support the business digitally through content creation.
- Experience executing events.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop excellent client relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Use Club events to recruit new clients, increase sales, and develop existing clients.
- Share ideas with the Fifth Avenue Club team to develop business opportunities and maximize sales to achieve or exceed goals.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue online clientele tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Source products for client appointments through stores, the digital “endless aisle,” and distribution centers.
- Conduct basic alteration fittings with guidance and training from the Alterations Director.
- Maintain a digital presence to attract new clients and promote the business through traditional and social media selling.
- Represent Saks Fifth Avenue as a community and brand ambassador.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
