Fifth Avenue Club Consultant
About The Position
The Fifth Avenue Club Consultant drives an individual personal-shopping business by providing outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space, establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and building overall Club sales volume. Under the direction of the Stylist Manager or Fifth Avenue Club Director, the Consultant follows company standards and procedures while developing client relationships, recruiting Club members, and meeting sales goals. The role involves using Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling tools to record client information and preferences, and contributing ideas to develop business opportunities and maximize sales. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of retail experience in a customer-focused luxury sales environment.
- Experience working with sales quotas and comfort meeting sales targets.
- Social media and technology savvy.
- Strong customer-service, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to gain trust quickly, listen well, communicate directly and diplomatically, and obtain cooperation with minimal disruption.
- Ability to generate varied and novel approaches to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize internal and external customer needs and seek customer information when improving products and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to clients in an exclusive space and develop excellent client relationships.
- Drive an individual personal-shopping business and build overall Club sales volume.
- Establish new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts and recruit new Club members.
- Use Club events to recruit members, increase sales, and develop existing members.
- Generate and share ideas with Club Directors to develop business opportunities and achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clientele tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Adhere consistently to company standards and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
