Requirements

  • Previous welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in MIG welding and the ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
  • Ability to perform AWS-qualified welds, including AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1, and B2.1 standards
  • Capable of passing 3G, 4G, or 6G plate tests using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes
  • Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to meet attendance, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Ability or willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability or willingness to obtain United States Passport
  • Ability to use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor lift & variable-reach forklifts
  • Ability to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong blueprint reading, fabrication layout, and mathematical skills
  • HEMP welding experience and/or additional welding certifications preferred
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding, fit-up, fabrication, and general construction tasks, including grinding and painting
  • Read and interpret blueprints to build and assemble components within required tolerances
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
  • Collaborate with team members to complete work on time, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives
