About The Position

Prince Precision Products and Prince Service & Manufacturing are seeking a customer-focused, ethical, flexible, selfless problem solver with pipe welding or millwright experience. The role supports the operation and reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, fabrication, inspections, and safety checks. It also includes maintaining parts and supplies, communicating maintenance needs across work teams, and preparing maintenance reports. The position is based in Macon, Georgia, on 1st shift.

Requirements

Pipe welder or millwright experience.
Ability to read blueprints.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have a clean motor vehicle record and a valid Georgia driver’s license.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Good time-management skills.
Able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
May be required to handle items weighing more than 50 pounds.

Technical school experience.

Responsibilities

Complete preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.
Identify problems by observing machinery in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
Inspect used parts to identify changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools.
Inform production workers about preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance to help control downtime.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories; anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, and verify receipts.
Use equipment and supplies appropriately to conserve maintenance resources.
Provide information in response to mechanical maintenance questions and requests.
Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.
Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
