About The Position

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Millwrights, Welders, and Fabricators for travel and local positions. Travel roles require weekly travel to various locations. The company provides competitive pay, benefits, and per diem. Employees perform mechanical repairs and installations, welding and fabrication, material handling, and other assigned work while following supervisor instructions and safety standards. Work may involve shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, and/or platforms, and bend and squat.
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for prolonged periods.
Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Able to work any shift, including required overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to pass required background and drug and alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

MSHA Surface and Underground certifications.

Responsibilities

Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining safety standards.
Perform assigned physical duties.
Move, secure, install, build, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes, and crushers.
Repair and install mechanical equipment parts.
Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs as needed.
Use stick welding and oxy/acetylene torches safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Clean and prepare job sites.
Assist skilled tradespeople with their duties.
Apply oils and greases according to equipment and job specifications safely and efficiently.
