Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
Strong work ethic with a self-motivated and accountable approach to work.
Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workload effectively and follow direction when needed.
Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle.
Ability to travel throughout the Wilmington market and surrounding service areas.
Must possess the ability to quickly learn corporate databases.
On-call 24x7 on a rotational basis, on stand-by, call out, dispatch, and overtime are required as dictated by the business.

Nice To Haves

Experience in field service, telecommunications, utility operations, network maintenance, or a related technical environment.
Exposure to installation, repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting activities.
Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or telecommunications equipment.
Military technical experience or technical training programs.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and infrastructure support.
Knowledge of transport networks or telecommunications systems.
Experience working in outdoor or customer-facing field environments.
Demonstrated record of learning new technical skills quickly.

Responsibilities

Perform installation and repair activities supporting transport network products and infrastructure.
Support day-to-day network operations and maintenance activities across the assigned service area.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) to ensure network reliability and performance.
Perform battery maintenance and related infrastructure support tasks.
Troubleshoot and respond to operational issues affecting network services.
Support In-Line Amplifier (ILA) environments and related telecommunications infrastructure.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established operational and safety procedures.
Collaborate with team members to support critical communications networks and customer service objectives.
