About The Position

Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is seeking a Field Technician Assistant to serve as the second person on a field crew. The role involves outdoor fieldwork in all weather conditions, including work within streets, easements, and off-road areas. The technician assistant will perform confined-space entries into utility and sewer manholes and operate and maintain issued equipment and vehicles. Required safety and field operations training will be provided. The position is located in Erlanger, Kentucky, and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be a team player.
• Have manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Have basic computer experience and basic knowledge of electronics.
• Be able to work outdoors 100% of the time and remain aware of surroundings and hazardous conditions.
• Be physically able to lift 50 pounds or more and pass a company physical.
• Have a valid driver's license and a certificate of acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Have a high school education.
• Complete a drug screen and background check.
• Be comfortable in confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in construction, landscaping, surveying, utility work, or other outdoor work with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records in accordance with Operations Quality Work Instructions.
