Chick-fil-A, Inc. Field Talent Staff (FTS) is an opportunity for new and emerging Restaurant Leaders to use their current restaurant knowledge to train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards and to provide operational support at Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments. Assignments may include Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, Disaster Relief, or other similar temporary locations. The program develops leadership, training, and operational skills while participants work with other leaders from across Chick-fil-A. For this New Restaurant Opening assignment, the selected Field Talent Staff member will serve on the NRO training team and primarily train new Team Members in Front of House (FOH), Drive-Thru, Back of House (BOH), and/or Prep. The assignment is open to FTS1 and FTS2 candidates and is located in Johnson City, New York. The assignment runs from October 7, 2026, through November 7, 2026. Applicants must currently work in a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant, have worked at that location for at least six months, and have their current employer’s support before applying. FTS participants may work a maximum of eight Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments per year and stay up to three weeks at each event. Before applying for a first training event, applicants must complete the FTS Program Application; applications to individual assignments are automatically declined until that application is submitted and a successful background check has been processed. Selected FTS members are paid $20 per hour, or $21.50 per hour for assignments located in Washington state, plus a daily per diem. Hours worked over 40 in a Sunday-through-Saturday workweek are paid at one and one-half times the regular rate, unless otherwise required by law.
