GFL is expanding and seeking a Field Talent Acquisition Partner in Vaughan to bring fresh ideas and grow with a dynamic team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in recruitment, specifically within high-volume, blue-collar, or industrial/skilled trades hiring.
  • Bilingual (French/English) proficiency is required to effectively support our Quebec region operations and candidates.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing tools.
  • Exceptional consultative, advisory, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational talent with the ability to manage multiple competing searches simultaneously.
  • Highly proactive, adaptable, and skilled at connecting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an in-house talent advisor to operational leadership, consulting on market trends, compensation insights, and regional talent strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process for field, operational, and skilled trade roles across the region, ensuring full process compliance.
  • Execute creative, localized sourcing strategies to attract and engage both active and passive candidates within the industrial and blue-collar sectors.
  • Serve as a true champion for "Team Green," delivering a best-in-class, respectful, and engaging experience for every candidate.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date candidate data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday.
