About The Position

The Field Supervisor for Bureau Veritas Fuels Division is the branch’s operational control point for scheduling and coordinating inspections. Working from the branch operations desk, the role receives client nominations and assigns qualified inspectors to vessel, barge, tank, truck and rail jobs, tracking each job from nomination through sample delivery to the laboratory. The position works closely with inspectors, the Operations Coordinator, the Key Account Manager, the laboratory and customer service. Dispatch operates around the clock, so the role includes rotating shifts and on-call coverage. The mission is to assign the right qualified inspector to each job on time and at the lowest practical cost while keeping clients and the branch informed. The Dispatcher balances service quality, inspector safety and fatigue limits, and job profitability. The role is office-based, with occasional visits to terminals and client sites, and requires following Bureau Veritas HSE requirements, including wearing PPE during site visits.
