About The Position

This Field Services Technician role is ideal for individuals who prefer hands-on work over desk jobs and are willing to get dirty to complete tasks. The position involves being part of a field crew that performs environmental cleanup, industrial services, equipment operation, tank cleaning and removal, spill response, and other site-specific projects. Technicians will work at various customer locations, utilizing specialized equipment and tools to safely manage projects that protect people, property, and the environment. This is a physical, hands-on role for someone who prioritizes safety, collaborates well within a team, and is comfortable working in diverse environments. No two projects are the same, and responsibilities can vary based on the assignment.

Requirements

High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
Must be clean shaven at all times in order to don a respirator for protection due to potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials.

Responsibilities

Gather and prepare tools, supplies, PPE, and equipment before heading to a customer site.
Clean and scrape the interiors of chemical storage tanks and assist with tank removal.
Prepare waste and materials for safe handling, transportation, and disposal.
Perform demolition and cleanup work at contaminated buildings, industrial facilities, and land sites.
Operate or assist with excavation, filter press, and other field equipment.
Use hand and power tools to support environmental, industrial, and construction-related projects.
Load, unload, handle, and sample drums and other containers.
Clean and decontaminate company tools and equipment after projects.
Respond as part of a team to environmental spills and other time-sensitive situations when needed.
Travel to project sites throughout the region and beyond, with travel of up to 50% depending on project needs.
