We are looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys solving technical challenges, traveling, and working directly with customers to install and support industry-leading equipment. In this role, you'll be the face of EMT International, providing expert technical service and building lasting customer relationships. Requirements
- Experience installing, servicing, or maintaining industrial machinery or automated equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work safely in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair EMT International OEM finishing equipment at customer facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and system performance evaluations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation, best practices, and preventative maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote access.
- Resolve customer issues quickly while delivering an outstanding service experience.
- Identify recurring issues and communicate recommendations that improve product performance and reliability.
- Assist with machine assembly, testing, and factory acceptance activities prior to shipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous product improvements.
- Complete detailed service reports, repair documentation, and service history records.
- Document redlines and communicate field modifications after project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of parts used, repairs completed, and warranty-related information.
