About The Position

The Field Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs beam pumping units to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance, and supporting production operations in the field while following safety standards and company procedures. Work takes place outdoors for long hours, including in extreme heat and cold, and involves physical labor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Two or more years of experience in oilfield services, mechanical maintenance, or artificial lift systems preferred.
Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in field operations.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, for long hours.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more, climb, and perform manual labor.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

CDL Class A.
Experience with crane rigging and safe lifting practices.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain pumping units and their operating condition.
Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs, then reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairs.
Perform safety inspections on equipment and tools and maintain them in safe operating condition.
Use basic hand tools on a daily basis.
Properly rig materials to be lifted.
Complete required field paperwork for the job location and DOT.
Understand and follow Liberty Lift Standard Operating Procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Drive company trucks to and from job sites.
Maintain proper housekeeping of vehicles and job locations.
Help ensure the safety and welfare of the job site, including fellow team members, customers, and third-party vendors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
