As a Field Service Technician, you’ll ensure customer equipment runs safely and reliably by diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and restoring performance in the field. Key responsibilities include: - Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery - Document findings, service actions, and recommended next steps - Communicate clearly with customers on status, timelines, and preventive care - Coordinate with internal teams for parts, technical guidance, and follow-up Your day begins by reviewing incoming service requests, confirming site details, and mapping an efficient travel plan. On location, you’ll walk the floor with the customer, gather symptoms, and methodically narrow down root causes. Between visits, you’ll provide concise updates, note what was completed, and outline practical maintenance suggestions. As you ramp up, you’ll lean on structured product and process training so you can navigate different shops and machine types with confidence and consistency.
