About The Position

The hourly range for this role is $22/hr. to $26/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Performs assessments and decontaminations. Effectively communicates project status with project managers about project status and issues that may impact project completion. Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees. Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately. Maintains an organized job site and perform site clean-up when needed. Operates and cares for construction equipment and machines. Helps equipment operator when necessary. Preps construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Collects and downloads data and prepares into spreadsheets/field forms. Loads or unloads construction materials. Removes, fills, or compacts earth. Follows instructions from supervisors. Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. Works frequently on environmental remediation sites. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Participates in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
  • Ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to present to Supervisors.
  • Utilizes strong organization skills and produces a paper trail that can be easily understood by a third party.
  • Proven ability to self-manage, identify problems and define solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
